Methodology — how we calculated this
  • We treat 75% of your reported monthly spend as compute (storage and networking make up the rest and are assumed unchanged) — compute-per-second billing is where the optimizer saves the most.
  • The savings range is 60% (conservative) to 90% (aggressive) on that compute spend, blended by how much of your workload is scheduled/batch — batch jobs are easier to right-size than interactive ones, so a higher batch share lands you closer to the aggressive end.
  • We apply the same range across Snowflake, BigQuery and Athena — all three bill compute-dominant, credit-based pricing with comparable idle-compute waste.
  • Eliminated ingestion/ETL = (pipelines × $350/mo, a typical managed ETL/CDC tool + upkeep cost) + (TB scanned/month × $12, avoided duplicate storage and transfer from copying operational data into the warehouse).
